Our logo comes from a painting of Larry Phillips. Mr. Phillips lives in Lawrence, Kansas. He has studied theology in the University of Kansas and Missouri. In the '90's he was a High Priest of the Wiccan tradition NorthWind, which was founded by Grey Cat. Later he became a member of the Ordo Aurum Solis. He is a torcbearer of the Covenant of Hekate. In 2013 he made a painting with Hekate standing at a crossroads at night.

That painting became one of our favorites in 2015, when Eirini and I were lived on the island of Mytilene, Hellas. We wanted to update our previous blog, A Witch Alone at the Crossroads, so we changed the name to something relevant and we also changed the logo. We chose to work with the painting of Mr. Phillips for two reasons. First, it represented what we wanted, Hekate at the Crossroads and secondly, it is the artwork of a devotee. I contacted Mr. Phillips and he gave me us permission to use the image for our logo. I changed the original painting by applying filters and that's how we got the image for our logo.
